Compost is organic matter that has been broken down into simpler organic or inorganic matter in a process called composting. This process recycles various organic materials otherwise regarded as waste products and produces a soil conditioner (the compost)
Sewage, or domestic/municipal wastewater, is a type of wastewater that is produced by a community of people. It is characterized by volume or rate of flow, physical condition, chemical and toxic constituents, and its bacteriologic status (which organisms it contains and in what quantities).
Domestic water use is water used for indoor and outdoor household purposes— all the things you do at home: drinking, preparing food, bathing, washing clothes and dishes, brushing your teeth, watering the garden, and even washing the dog.
